No doubt the effect of coronavirus has caused nations, organizations, businesses, individuals and even healthcare givers to struggle.
While some nations have been able to proactively design systems to cater for her citizens and residents, many are yet to logically identify the extent of damages and impact on economy and individual. One of such countries to have stood up to ease the burden on individual is Canada.
The government of Canada has not only come out boldly to state categorically that they are with everyone in this trying time, they have gone all the way to making monies available to everyone and a leverage to get on with day-to-day spending on grocery or otherwise.
They have so far paid approximately N870,000 to individuals who have benefited from the palliative.
A Twitter user named Travel Doctor while showing is happiness and expression of gratitude to the government of Canada shared pay check and balance as evidence.
His tweet reads;
Few days ago, we received a deposit of $2,000 from d Govt of Can today we got another cheque of $290 as support. Meanwhile, all Nigerian Govt could say was come back home and I will bear d flight cost. Home ain’t where u were born. Home is where d leaders care abt u.
