Living by Different Rules

Living by Different Rules (Deuteronomy 33:29)
Most people were not born with silver spoons in their mouths; you probably weren’t. Opportunities are not evenly distributed in this world. The affluent move with affluent people and the poor move with the poor. The rich marry the rich and the not rich, the not rich. The rich have privileged access to good information and great opportunities. This creates a situation where some rich people don’t understand the reason why some people are poor – they are not in touch with the reality of life as they operate on a different pedestal than the generality of the populace. Seeing themselves as having what most people don’t have, they are sometimes proud and always wanting people to serve or worship them.
But there is a family whose members are blessed beyond the rich. Their Father’s resources are not limited by any means. Though the family is large and growing rapidly, all family members have equal privileges and can access resources based on their level of obedience to the Father’s rules. This family has privileges that most rich people do not have. Their Father is able to predict the future and is able to direct members in manners that give them advantages over others. They are able to succeed where others are failing and are able to run where others are fainting. Though the DNA of this family is unique, any non-family member is welcome to join. Once joined, members’ genotypes are altered to align to that of the Father. They are able to conquer situations and circumstances and are able to overcome tough challenges. The family name is ‘Christians.’

In Deuteronomy 33:29, the Bible says “Blessed are you, o Israel; who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, Who is the shield of your help and the sword of your majesty! So your enemies will cringe before you, and you will tread upon their high places.” As the Israel of God, He has credited us with certain advantages right from ab-initio (from the onset). The Bible says you are blessed; period. It says further that your enemies will cringe before you; full stop. God selected Jacob over Esau, right from their mother’s womb. If God has called you blessed, there aren’t nothing no one can do to it (permit me to use that language). You have no business envying anyone. You occupy a superior place. You are seated with Christ in heavenly places! Your economy is not controlled by Wall Street, Dow Jones or the London Stock Exchange. You do not take orders from here. You are exempted from the normal course of events. Conforming to earthly standards is not an option. Your life is differently designed and your ways are differently fashioned. The One who loves you has powers above kings’ powers. You cannot be frustrated, stranded or stopped.
Has anyone ever challenged you or asked you to explain why you always succeed? Has anyone asked where the source of your favor is coming from? Did someone ever ask what you do to be so blessed or how you live to be so protected? Is someone jealous of your joy and peace? Your reaction should be very obvious – show them the way to God; everyone has the same privileges and opportunities. If they choose to come to Christ, welcome them to the greatest family in heaven and on earth. If they refuse to join the family, tell them that the door is still open and that you’ll keep praying for them. As for you, so long as you continue to obey the Father, succeed you will, and you need offer no apologies for that. May this week bring you greatness beyond your expectations and breakthrough beyond your dreams. Enjoy your weekend and God bless you all!
