Chidiebere Nwoke has died of snake bite suffered on his farm in Umuahia, Abia state.
According to reports, he was said to be tilling the farm alongside his brother when he unknowingly cut a very venomous viper called Ajuala with machete. The snake in attack bit him on his left hand which resulted in the swelling of the hand.
His kinsmen failed to take him to the hospital immediately so that he can get adequate attention and treatment, but instead, he was rushed native doctor who gave him some herbal drugs to stabilize him but the drugs didn't help him.
He later passed on and has since been deposited in the morgue.
